Michael Conelly setttled the standards very high with some of his previous novels like "The poet". This book is very good and describes in a moving way the last period of Harry Bosch in the Los Angeles police. Bosch is a very touching character. I've ben seeing the first season of the TV series "Harry Bosch" at the same time I was reading "The crossing" and "Mariachi Plaza" and the actor impersonating Bosch is really great. I recomend both the books and the series.
I was not aware this was the French language version.
